Field Trip

Whilst everyone was celebrating the Pop Up show, I was heading back to Scotland on the sleeper train. It's amazing how cheaply you can travel if you want to.

The plan was to return to Auldearn and shoot photographs in the bleak winter. Witches - The Haunting is up next.

I wanted to ground myself and simply wander at will in the area. It was freezing! Really cold. But at least I was based in a hotel. There were plenty of opportunities to wander around the village late at night, taking weird and wonderful photos. Who knew the iPhone would be so good at night photography?

It was remarkable to return at this time of year. The land had lost its green fields of barley and was replaced by bare brown earth.

But there is so much to see, and the light is special. I have many photographs, audio files, and thoughts ready to process for Unit 2.
