Mask making 2

My idea is to have the three sisters as separate characters as they would be. Isobel will be the central figure and the two others her supporters.

Drawing upon Freud’s work in the Uncanny, I’m going to purposefully try masks to see if it does indeed evoke an uncanny response.

Using paper Mache clay… home made… I was able to swiftly bring together features by applying the mixture over a tin foil amerture. This kept the weight manageable and allowed me to sculpt the features. The eyes were very important. So with the help of a sharp knife to cut holes and using small jars as forms, I constructed the ‘holes’.
