Symposium

Two weeks into my Master’s completed.

Intense.

Screen printing has been remarkable and rewarding.

Symposium? Well, this was intriguing.

I approached it as I always do - I gave it my all, but I sensed a deficiency -

A deficiency in the variety of work and ideas (in comparison to my peers).

This is true! I have been printmaking for four years, or two if one considers Company of Witches as my starting point.

All self-taught (aside from short courses).

Yet, I am an individual, and I am me. I am a traveller and a seeker. 

This is where it gets interesting;

I am beginning to recognise the potential for thought, for thinking. I am starting to cultivate 'criticality'. I am even, dare I say it, pondering context. How brilliant is that?
