My MA Proposal?

I’m contemplating connecting to the space between the veils... the thin place, as it is referred to in the realm of spirits. Traditionally, a Scottish word meaning the liminal space between this world and the otherworld. 

CONTEXT

My project will evoke that sense through print, photography, video and audio.  

PRACTICALITY

But what’s my thin place? It’s the moment that I sense a connection and an interference.  Something that is activated from the outside but is felt in the internal. 

RESEARCH

Borrowing from the concept of Hauntology, I pose the question: if a spectre, a ghost, or a nostalgic apparition exists, where do they reside? Are they from the past, the future, or are they merely recordings activated by the seeker? What is it that calls the seeker to search for such existences?
