Photo Lithography

If I’m being honest, the idea of creating a printing plate directly from a photograph has not immediately appealed to me.

But the whole idea of following an MA is to pursue, widen the box, step over the edge of the envelope and get out of your comfort zone. Well, that’s what it’s about for me.

I shall look at photolithography as an extension of my toolbox.

Two streams of thought that I wanted to pursue:

Using mark-resist film and halftone imagery to create my plates.
