The story behind the images is an integral part of my work. Therefore, it is logical to turn this into a narration as an audio file.

Listening to an interview with Susan Hiller on YouTube, I was struck by her comment about finding the right medium to tell the story.’

Since I was trying to evoke the 1970s, I thought it appropriate to use an old-fashioned telephone. I have always considered the telephone a harbinger of bad news, so it seemed an appropriate symbol.

It took a few attempts to rewire and construct my device, but finally, I had a working phone that would play a track from my iPhone through the earpiece.
