It is huge… an office space as a gallery. How is that going to work?

This was my first experience of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Reading a synopsis beforehand allowed me to sit back and enjoy the performance.

What to do when I want to print my image real size. So many considerations…

Screen printing fabric to create a length of calico fabric to make into a robe.

White / Soap Ground. This was on my list of techniques to try. I had seen some evidence of its use through Ollie’s work and I felt it may help with my practice.

Steel was next to treat using Soap ground. I haven’t etched steel in nitric acid before so this was going to prove doubly interesting.

Zinc. The aquatinted plate was painted with soap grind and etched in Nitric Acid 1:20. The result?

Moving into Unit 2 and realising an image to begin my work on the Witches of Auldearn. I’m changing the name to Weyward Sisters.
