Francesca Woodman

A visit to the Tate Modern and the artist rooms.

Having looked at books and online images by Francesca Woodman, I decided it would be a good idea to view her photographs in person.

Usually when visiting a gallery, I look and absorb the work on display. However, on this visit, I decided to try a different approach. I would walk around the room first, then revisit each piece to spend time with it. Making notes and brief sketches on each image helped deepen my understanding of the work.
