Perfect timing to look at monotype today. I’m hoping to get to a larger study monotype as a background to Haunting 1, so any technical help will be appreciated.

Haunting 1. Developing a visual language to answer the question of absence and presence .

How would the jacket look if I etched it into acrylic?  A good question.  It was always part of my multi plane idea.  Prepping the image threw up some interesting questions.

Having printed variations of the two hydrocoat plates it’s time to rework the ‘jacket’. Deep etch. 13 minutes in 4:1 Nitric acid.

It’s become obvious to me that my memory is not as sharp as it used to be. Recall is slower.

Obviously this is a ‘common’ complaint for mature students but still!
